Now Hiring: Assistant Property Manager
Responsibilities:
- Operating the leasing office, completing storage unit leases, generating reports, answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Multiple daily site walks, potentially light cleaning and maintenance work when necessary
- Hiring and scheduling vendors & contractors to perform as-needed building and site maintenance
- Locking and unlocking the facility for customer access hours (7 am – 7 pm)
- Being “the face of the company”; enthusiastic, warm and welcoming to customers
- Being a team player, may occasionally need to come in to cover office hours on short-notice
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and has a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be flexible with hours
- Management experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and will be trained to use proprietary self-storage management software
